to disable Script Blocking in Norton AntiVirus 2001
Situation:
You want to disable Norton AntiVirus (NAV) Script Blocking.
Solution:
To disable Norton AntiVirus 2001 Script Blocking:
1. Start Norton AntiVirus.
2. Click Options. If a menu appears when you click Options, then click Norton AntiVirus.
The Options for Norton AntiVirus dialog box appears.

3. Click Script Blocking.
4. Uncheck "Enable Script Blocking (recommended)."
5. Click OK.
NOTE: Script Blocking is a feature of NAV 2001 that was added to as a part of a NAV
program update. If Script Blocking does not appear in Options, then the program update is
not installed. To install the NAV program update, run LiveUpdate, and download all program
updates. Restart the computer when prompted. Run LiveUpdate until you are told that there
are no more updates available.

How to disable script blocking in Norton AntiVirus 2002 or 2003
Situation:
You want to disable the script blocking feature when using Norton AntiVirus (NAV) 2002 or
2003.
Solution:
To disable NAV Script Blocking:
1. Start NAV.
2. Click Options. If a menu appears when you click Options, then click Norton AntiVirus.
The Norton AntiVirus Options dialog box appears.

3. Click Script Blocking.
4. Uncheck Enable Script Blocking (recommended).
5. Click OK.
6. Restart the computer if prompted to do so.
