Advanced Time Management ~ Activity Series

On the previous screens, we showed you how to create a single event. This can get very tedious if you have to enter 20 new events at once. Residential Transaction Manager "Activity Series" to the rescue!. An activity series allows you to schedule multiple events at once for a contact. This is very handy when you get a new listing, and have several items to complete for the new listing. Instead of entering everything one by one like in other programs, just schedule an activity series for the new contact / listing, and away you go! For this example, please pretend you just got a new listing!

Schedule Activity Series

After entering your new seller, click CONTACT > Schedule activity series.

Activity Series Confirmation Screen

Select the listings activity series. Select your start date. and click on schedule. The computer will go to work scheduling activities for the contact as defined by the activity series. The program comes with 3 pre-defined activity series - you can use the ones we made for you, make changes to our defaults, or create your own! You can also create activity series based on closings. (If you scheduled a closing, you could determine the end date, so that you can schedule events that must be complete within a week of closing, 3 days of closing, 1 day before closing, etc.).

View Scheduled activity series.

Here is my calendar after I finished scheduling the Activity Series. You can see there are 16 events scheduled on this calendar. I scheduled them all in about 1 minute!
